1. Acceptance of the Terms
By creating an account or using Kopargo, you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
If you do not agree with these rules, you must not use the website or the app.
Kopargo may evolve. When important changes are made, we may update this page and invite you to review the Terms again.
2. Minimum Age and Personal Account
Kopargo is for adults only. You must not use Kopargo if you are under 18 or if the law in your country does not allow you to use a dating service.
You must provide accurate information when signing up. Your email is the main account identifier and cannot be changed after registration.
During registration, you must confirm that you are 18 years old or older. This confirmation is mandatory to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity performed from your account.
3. Local Dating Service
Kopargo prioritizes people available in the user’s detected country to support local dating.
Distance is calculated from the location provided by the device or browser. If location is denied, unavailable or too inaccurate, some distances may be shown as unavailable.
You accept that location is an essential feature of the service. It is used for distance display, profile relevance and local safety.
4. Subscription, Messages and Video Calls
Sending messages and starting video calls may require an active subscription.
The Kopargo subscription has no automatic renewal: the user stays in control and can add a new period whenever they choose.
If the subscription expires, access to messages and video calls may be cut automatically. Older conversations may remain visible when this does not conflict with safety or blocking rules.
5. Messaging, Encryption and Video Calls
Kopargo uses end-to-end encryption to protect message content when the feature is available on both devices.
Sending files in chat is not allowed: images, videos, PDFs, documents, archives or other attachments cannot be sent through messaging.
Messaging is intended for text, emojis and direct exchanges provided by Kopargo. Photos and videos must stay in the dedicated profile or gallery areas.
Some technical information remains necessary for operation: participants, dates, notifications, read status, reports and delivery data.
Video calls use WebRTC, Socket.IO for signaling and STUN/TURN configuration to improve connectivity between devices.
6. Content, Photos, Videos and Digital Shop
You remain responsible for the photos, videos, texts and information you publish.
You must not publish illegal, violent, hateful, misleading, sexually exploitative content, content harming others or content involving minors.
The shop allows purchases of digital files, including PDFs. Download links may be temporary and time-limited.
7. Payments
Payments may be offered through FedaPay for certain countries and through PayPal or card depending on country and provider availability.
Kopargo does not store full card numbers. Sensitive payment information is handled by payment providers.
A confirmed payment may activate a subscription or make a digital purchase available. If the connection drops, payment webhooks help confirm the operation server-side when the provider validates the transaction.
8. Blocking, Reporting and Safety
You can block a user. A blocked person should no longer see your profile or write to you through Kopargo.
You can report a profile, photo, video or technical issue. Reports help protect the community.
We may limit, suspend or delete an account in case of abuse, fraud, harassment, security bypass, false identity or dangerous behavior.
9. Account Deletion
You can request permanent account deletion from settings.
Deletion removes account-related data from Kopargo active databases, including profile, messages, media, blocks, reports, notifications and associated data, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
10. Cookies and Browser Storage
Kopargo uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in, secure forms, retain your language and associate your actions with the correct account.
Kopargo may also use localStorage and sessionStorage to remember the sign-in email, certain navigation states, pending transactions and elements required for E2EE encryption. Your password is never stored there.
PayPal and FedaPay may use their own cookies or storage mechanisms when their payment interface is opened, including for security and fraud prevention.
By using Kopargo, you accept the use of elements strictly necessary to operate the service. Details, durations, protections and deletion options are available on the Cookies page.
Blocking or deleting the session cookie may sign you out and prevent certain secure features from working.
11. Service Availability
Kopargo makes reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but does not guarantee permanent availability.
Interruptions may happen because of maintenance, network, payment, hosting, browser, device issues or force majeure.
You agree to use Kopargo carefully and to verify the identity and intentions of people you meet.
12. Contact
For a question, help request or problem, use the Help page or the Report a Problem page.
For an important question related to personal data, you can also use the report form so the team can process your request.
