Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Kopargo collects, why it is used, how it is protected and how you can manage your rights.

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Controller and Contact

Kopargo is a product of Tinwi Linwi.

For any request about your data or account, use the Help page or the Report a Problem page.

We process personal data requests based on the type of request, the account identity concerned and applicable obligations.

2. Data We Collect

Account: name, email, protected password, sex, language, country, profile photo, profile information and texts such as description or search preferences.

Location: country, IP address, latitude, longitude, accuracy, update date and displayed distance when the device provides usable location.

Communication: encrypted messages, E2EE public keys, user-protected private keys, metadata needed for chat, read status, notifications, video calls and technical signaling.

Media: photos, videos, gallery information, related reports and deletion actions.

Payments and shop: subscription, active status, expiration date, FedaPay or PayPal references, digital purchases, temporary download links and payment confirmations.

Safety and support: blocks, reports, submitted problems, IP address, browser, device, technical logs and events needed to protect the service.

3. Why We Use This Data

Create and secure your account, verify email, allow sign-in and password recovery.

Show relevant profiles in the same country, calculate distance, improve the local dating experience and avoid inconsistent results.

Enable messages, video calls, notifications, read confirmations, blocks and reports.

Manage subscriptions, payments, digital purchases, temporary downloads and transaction confirmations.

Prevent fraud, abuse, impersonation, suspicious proxy use, spam and dangerous behavior.

Respond to help requests, fix bugs, improve the website/App and comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Location and Distance

Distance is a core feature of Kopargo. It depends on the location provided by the browser or device.

When location is too inaccurate, denied or unavailable, Kopargo may show distance as unavailable instead of showing a false large distance.

The detected country is used to limit results to users in the same country and may be updated when the real country changes.

5. Encryption and Message Privacy

Kopargo uses end-to-end encryption to protect message content when technical conditions are met.

Even with encryption, some metadata remains necessary: participants, dates, delivery status, read status, notifications and safety elements.

If you change device or clear certain local data, private keys stored on the device may need to be restored or regenerated depending on available functionality.

6. Sharing With Providers

We do not sell your personal data.

Some providers may process necessary data: VPS hosting, MongoDB on server, SMTP email, FedaPay, PayPal, STUN/TURN network services and essential technical tools.

Payment providers process sensitive payment information under their own rules. Kopargo keeps only references needed for confirmation, subscription, purchases and support.

7. Retention

Account data is kept as long as the account exists or as long as it is needed for the service.

Messages, media, notifications, reports, purchases and payments are kept according to their usefulness for the service, safety, support or applicable obligations.

When you permanently delete your account, Kopargo removes related data from active databases, unless a legal obligation or safety evidence requires limited retention.

Shop download links are temporary and may disappear after their access period.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can update certain information from profile and settings, including language and password.

You can enable location, block users, unblock users and permanently delete your account.

Depending on applicable laws, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to the processing of your data. Use the Report a Problem page to send the request.

9. Security

Kopargo uses security measures such as password hashing, CSRF tokens, access controls, E2EE message encryption, abuse limits and server-side checks.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You must choose a strong password and avoid sharing your credentials.

If there is a security problem, use the Report a Problem page and choose the Security category.

10. Minors

Kopargo is for adults only. Minors must not create an account or use the service.

If you believe a minor is using Kopargo, report it so the team can intervene.

11. Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated when Kopargo adds new features, new payments, new protections or new obligations.

The version shown on this page is the version applicable at the time you view it.
